The Hunterdon Cardiovascular Research Team is led by physicians Andrey Espinoza, MD, Austin H Kutscher, Jr, MD, and Ted Bialy, MD. They are assisted by Debra Haines.
spacer.gifA clinical trial is a research study designed to answer specific questions concerning the impact of using new therapies or new ways of using known treatments. The objective of a clinical trial is to determine if a new drug or treatment is both safe and effective. Clinical trials have been proven to be an effective method in finding the fastest and safest ways of treatments that work.
spacer.gifTo conduct a clinical trial, the Clinical Research Team adheres to rules that have been set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Each clinical trial is approved and monitored by an institutional review board to ensure that risks are as low as possible and that the potential benefits outweigh any of those risks.
spacer.gifCurrently Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates is involved in both national and international studies that range from the management of cardiac arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes, carotid artery stenting and congestive heart failure management.

If you are interested in participating in one of our ongoing clinical trials, or would like more information, please contact Debra Haines, CRC, at 908 788-6471, ext 267.
